The purpose of this illustration to convey a feeling of sadness, the description of the image was "a girl, in a bubble".

The first step was to make initial sketches and send them for approval.

After deciding more specific details and a lot of work the painting is complete.

To give the illustration a darker look and a bit of personality we textured the scene.
